What to Know Before Your Appointment

Recommended Session Frequency & Maintenance
Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Visceral Manipulation sessions are most effective when scheduled once a week for three consecutive weeks. If your system is congested and struggling to detox, this approach helps to gradually work through layers and access deeper levels within the body, allowing time to release deeper adhesions. Additional sessions may be recommended to continue progress and maintain the results achieved.

Cancellations & Reminders

You will receive a text or email reminder 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations or reschedules made after the reminder is sent, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee. Same-day cancellations due to illness or emergencies are subject to an administrative fee.

Cold, Flu, or Active Illness
If you arrive with cold, flu, or virus symptoms, bodywork is contraindicated. You will be asked to reschedule and will be responsible for the full session fee.
If you're unsure whether to keep your appointment, please call Karen in advance. If recovering from an illness, wait until you’re at least 90% better before your session.

Winter Weather Policy
Please be aware of the weather forecast during the winter months and make any changes at least 24 hours in advance of a predicted storm. Same-day cancellations or missed appointments due to weather are still subject to the full session fee.

Scheduled Session Time

The full fee applies for the scheduled session, even if the session is shortened, ends early, or begins later than planned.
